Introduction Paragraph

Greetings fellow classmates, my name is Pedro Cruz-Avalos and go by the pronouns he, him, his. I’m in my second semester of my Freshman year at CCNY majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Some background on me is that I was born in the state of North Carolina (go Panthers!!!) and raised in New York City (go Yankees!!!). While my parents were from Mexico, I am a Mexican-American with great Spanish speaking skills which came in handy when visiting Mexico twice (so far). Other than studying for my major, I enjoy playing games on my PS5 like Fallout 4 which is currently my favorite game of all time. I sometimes even make my own games using programming languages like Python. Reading books like from the Goosebumps series. Enjoying time with family and pets, which I have many of that include 6 turtles, a tortoise, and 2 bearded dragons. I love watching movies as well, My favorite groups of movies has to be Star wars and Marvel, but I’m very serious about Star Wars, especially since it went a little downhill with the most recent trilogy :(. I could rant all day about why it didn’t meet my expectations but then this would become a whole argumentative essay lol. In short, I enjoyed the original and prequel trilogies of Star Wars, and most of the shows, but if you’re wondering which is my favorite, I’d say “The Revenge of the Sith” (Ep. III). Apart from this I’d like to mention some weaknesses in my writing, which is a difficulty in beginning and ending essays or papers in general which I hope to improve with this class in a more technical and sophisticated way.
